Pebble Mine Threatens Bristol Bay

Anyone who has ever visited the Bristol Bay region, or every just dreamed of visiting, needs to take notice of a proposed giant open pit gold mine that \threatens to devastate the finest cold water fisheries on the planet.

Please take some time and look through the links provided on the lower right column. There are many articles and websites that outline this horrible misuse of public lands in this magical region of Alaska.

We will hunt down and share all the applicable email addresses for our representives. We all need to inform ourselves on this project and voice our concerns while we have a chance. This is far more of an eviromental concern than drilling the entire ANWAR reserve. The Pebble Mine could easily crash the entire Bristol Bay eco-system.

Nature Photography & Prints

For years you have enjoyed Joe Smith’s soft-spoken guiding style and his great photography used through our marketing materials. Recently, Joe has settled into a Jackson, Wyoming and given up summer guiding with us in Alaska to focus on his thriving studio & photography business.

We don’t think we will be guiding with us anytime soon, but now you can enjoy the vision of Joe Smith through his incredible wildlife photography. Visit his website www.wild4nature.com to view his work and order gorgeous, large format prints perfect for the home or office. He has a wide assortment of wildlife and nature shots to choice from, plus he is available for special consignment work.
